    The 2nd son, Robert Warren Gumbleton, of Glanatore, m. 18 Dec 1787 Margaret, dau. of John Bowen, of Oakgrove, co Cork (see Burke’s LG of Ireland, Bowen of Bowen’s Court, and had issue,

    3. George (Rev.), of Belgrove, near Cork, m. 1st his cousin Sarah, dau. of Capt. Henry Gumbleton (see above). He m. 2ndly Frances Anne, dau of James Penrose of Woodhill, Cork, and d. 29 Oct 1860 leaving issue,

(s. to the latter on the death of his aunt Mrs. Stocker in 1881), JP, Waterford and Cork; b. 1834, m. 4 Nov 1858 Isabella Matilda (d. 1917) of Twyning manor, dau. of Hon. Judge Des Barres, of St. John’s Newfoundland, and d. 1889 having had issue, a dau., Isabella Mary, and a son Richard Augustus Maxwell, who both d. young.
