Western Gazette - Friday 07 May 1915 The only three sons of Mr and Mrs C. [sic] Cumbleton, of Poundbury Farm, Dorchester:—(1) Sergeant H. G. Cumbleton, who is at present at North Battleford, Sask, Canada, with the 9th C.M.R (2) Lance-Corporal W. L. Cumbleton, who came from Canada with the first Canadian Expeditionary Force and is now at the Front. Both were doing well in Canada, but on the outbreak of the war joined the Colours. (3) Private P. J. Cumbleton, who joined the 4th Dorset Regiment and is now in India. Mrs Cumbleton has also two brothers with the Colours:—(4) Priv. A. V. Wakley, who joined the 4th Dorset, and is now in India; and (5) G. F. Wakley who is in the Red Cross, and has tended the wounded both at Weymouth and Dorchester.
