|Barbara or "Barbery" Gomeldon is believed to have been a daughter of William Gomeldon, groom to Queen Anne, and his wife Mary, nee Thisthlethwaite. At the time, there was a Royal Palace (Palace of Placentia) in Greenwich and it is a likely location for WIlliam Gomeldon in 1615.
A burial in 1645 is recorded at St Andrew, Holborn, London, as that of Barbara Gumbleton, a 'widdow', but it seems very likely that this was a mistake and that the burial was of the present Barbara (Barbery) Gomeldon.
