|Baptised:||5 Jul 1704||Britford, Wiltshire, England|
|Parents:||John GUMBLETON||Abigail HARRIS|
|She may be the Abigaill Gumbulton who married Benjamin Swanyard at St Botolph, Aldersgate, Middlesex, in 1729. There are no other obvious candidates for an Abigail Gumbleton at that time and it is not a common name. However, it is unknown how or why she would have been in London. She could perhaps have been in service to a family who had houses in Wiltshire and London, although this is just speculation with no supporting evidence.
A Benjamin Swanyard was baptised at St Mary Whitechapel in 1707 and apprenticed in London in 1722.
