Sir Robert Tristram Ricketts, 1st Bart., vice Admiral of the Blue, LLD (son of John Ricketts of Southampton by Harriet Grace his wife) born S'ton 1772, created Baronet Jan 1828 d. the Elms, Glos., 18 Aug, buried Swindon nr Cheltenham 25 Aug 1842. WIll 30 July. Proved 31 Sep 1842.

Wife: Rebecca Eliza eldest dau. of Richard Gumbleton of Castle Richard co. Wexford [sic] & coheir of her brother Richard Edward Gumbleton of Glencairn Abbey deceased. Born Dec 1781 marr. Bathwick Chapel nr. Bath, 15 May 1802, died the Elms, Cheltenham, 8 May, bur. at Swindon 17 May 1859.

Arms of Gumbleton on record in the College of Arms: Or on a fess wavy gules 3 mullets argent, a canton vert charged with a fleur de lis of hte field.
