Newspapers and journals: Sale of estates of Richard H Gumbleton, 1842

Part of the estates of Richard H. Gumbleton, Esq, comprised of the lands of Garrynagowl, and part of Kilcoran, were sold at Mr McDonnell's Auction Mart, Cork, for the payment of incumbrances. The whole was put up in one lot, which contained 347 acres, held under leases made in the years 1830, '37, and '39, at a rental of 417l per annum, and was knocked down to Mr Briscoe of Fermoy for 8,800l.
