Maenporth Hereward Avenue Birchington on Sea Kent 27th Feb 1951 Dear Sir Your letter addressed to my late husband to hand. Unfortunately all his brothers & sisters are now deceased so I am unable to get any information for you. However, I can give you the undermentioned which I hope may be of some use to you. Robert Gumbleton born Sept 1775 Ann Ensor born Apl 7 1778 Married Sept 7 1796 Children of the above Ann Gumbleton born Jan 28 1798 Henry born Apl 20 1799 Richard born Oct 20 1801 Mary born Jun 25 1803 Elizabeth born Sep 7 1805 Jane born Aug 9 1807 Josiah William born May 27 1809 Maria Hurmston Backhouse Dec 9 1811 All christened at Deal Kent I would add that my late husband was named Josiah William. Should you be successful in obtaining any further information I should be glad if you would let me know as there are some nieces and nephews to whom I would like to pass same.
