In the Name of God Amen The fiveth day of
Aprill Anno Domini One Thousand six hundred Forty Eight and in the Foure and twentieth
yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Kinge Charles of England etc I Richard
Gomeldon of London gentleman being in health of body and of sound and perfect minde
and memory praised be God callinge to minde the certainety of death and the
uncertaine houre thereof Doe make and declare this my last Will and testament as
followeth. First and principally I comend my soule unto Almighty God my body I
com[m]itt to the Earth from whence it came, and my goods and Estate as followeth
First I give and bequeath unto my Sister Joice Otterbury Tenn pounds to be paid
her into her owne hands with all convenient speed after my decease. Item I give and
bequeath unto my Loveing Brother William Gomeldon his Executors and Assignes
All that my Lease of the house now in the tenure of Rowland Searchfeild[?] scituate in
St Mary Axe in the parish of St Andrew Undershaft in London and all my terme
interest and demaunds of in and to the same. Togeather with the rents issues and
proffitts thereof And I alsoe give Devise and bequeath unto my said brother William
Gomeldon The residue and remainder of all and every my goods debts moneyes
and all other my Estate whatsoever and wheresoever my debts and funerall charges
being first paid. And I name ordaine and constitute the said William Gomeldon
my Brother full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In witness
whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale dated the day and yeare first
above written. Richard Gomeldon Signed sealed published and delivered
by the said Richard Gomeldon for and as his last will and Testament in the presence
of us George Townrow solicitor Matthew Benson his servant.

Probatum fuit huiusmodi Testamentum apud London vicesimo septimo die
