Other wills and administrations: Will of Sarah Gumbolton, spinster, of Charlton, Donhead Saint Mary
This is the last will and Testament of me Sarah Gumbleton of Charlton in the Parish of Donhead Saint Mary in the County of Wilts. Spinster. First I direct the payment of my just Debts, Funeral and Testamentary Expences with all convenient Speed after my decease. I give unto my Sister Virtue Trims Children, JamesTrim, Robert Trim, Hannah Day, Charity Trim, Sarah Trim and Ann Trim, the Sum of Forty Pounds, to be equally divided between them share and share alike. I give unto my Sister Ann Coke otherwise Cook the sum of Forty Pounds. I give unto my two nephews Robert Gumbleton and John Gumbleton, the sum of Five pounds each. I give unto Amelia Blandford the Daughter of John Blandford the Sum of Ten Pounds. I give unto Mary Alner the Daughter of the said John Blandford the sum of Five Pounds. I give unto Elizabeth Blandford the daughter of Thomas Blandford of Milbury Abbas in the County of Dorset the Sum of Ten pounds. I give unto my niece Hannah Day my Cupboard and one large Pewter Dish. I give unto my niece the said Sarah Trim my Oak Table and a Pair of Fire Dogs. I give unto my Sister the said Ann Coke otherwise Cook my Box, a pewter dish and two Plates, Two Gowns a quilted Petticoat and one Apron. I give unto my Niece the said Ann Trim my iron pot. I give unto my niece the said Charity Trim Two Pewter Plates. And I direct that one half of the Sum of the beforementioned Legacies shall be paid at the End or expiration of Twelve Calendar months from my decease, and the other half of the above Sum at the expiration of Two years From the Time of my decease, and all the rest residue and remainder of my Monies Securities for money and all other my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath unto my two friends the said John Blandford and to William Russell both of Donhead Saint Mary aforesaid to be equally divided between them Share and share alike, and I nominate and appoint the said John Blandford and William Russell joint Executors of this my said Will, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any Time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament, set my Hand and Seal this twenty first Day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Thirty four Signed, sealed published and declared by the said Sarah Gumbleton, as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us; who in her presence her request, and in the presence of each other have scribed our names as witnesses thereto
