| She is believed to have been housekeeper to William Wright of Melbury Abbas. He died in 1821 and left her an income together with either the use of a house or the allowance to rent one. One of William Wright's executors was John Blandford , who is also named as a friend and executor in Sarah Gumbleton's 1834 will.
