| Mary Perrier (or Perryer) was baptised on 16 Jul 1731, at Alderbury, Wiltshire, but no parents’ names are given in the register.
She married Thomas Gumbleton and had four children surprisingly late in life, between 1768 and 1774. Her husband died in 1807 and, in 1813, she was a beneficiary of the will of James Perryer, gentleman; her brother. She died in 1822 and was buried, noted in the register as aged 92, in West Grimstead. A gravestone was erected in memory of her, her late husband and her brother, James. | ||||||||||||||||||
