| John Gumbleton was a son of John Gumbleton of Cann, Dorset, and his wife Elizabeth, nee Gumbleton. He was baptised on 2 Feb 1746, at Cann.
In 1774, he married Sarah Small at Holy Trinity Church, Shaftesbury, Dorset. They had two children: John and Mary Gumbleton. Sarah died in 1796 and John died in 1824. He was buried in St Peter’s, Shaftesbury. | ||||||||||
