I John Gumbleton of Birford beinge weake in body yet in perfect memory I give God praise doe make here my last will and testament
bequeathinge my soule into the handes of Allmighty God not doubtinge of my saluacon through Jesus Christ that died for me And my
body I commit to the earth from whence it came to be buried in the Church or churchyard of Birford as my freinds thinke fitt First
I give to the Reparacon of the church of Birford two shillings It[em] I give to my son John Gumbleton Tenn pounds to be paid
him within two moneths next after my decease Item I give to my son Edmund Gumbleton one hundred and twenty pounds to be paid within
six moneths after my decease Item I give to my daughter Alice Northeast twenty pounds to be paid within
six moneths after my decease Item I give to my daughter Dorothy thirtie pounds to be paid within
six moneths after my decease Item I give to my grandchild Mary Gumbleton five pounds to be paid to her father for her use within
six moneths after my decease Item I give to my grandchildren Walter, Obadiah and Jonathan Gumbleton to each of them five shillings
to be paid to their use within six moneths after my decease Item I give to my grandchild John Northeast five shillings to be
paid to his father for his use within
six moneths after my decease Item I give to my grandchild Joane Gumbleton five shillings to be paid to her father Edmund Gumbleton
within six moneths after my decease for her use Item I give to my kinsman Robert Gumbleton two bushells of wheat to be paid
within
six moneths of my decease all the rest of my goods and chattells my debts legacies and funerall expenses beinge discharged I give
and bequeath to my lovinge wife Jone Gumbleton whom I make sole executrix of this my last will and testament I doe alsoe desire and
appoint my lovinge freinds Thomas Northeast and Robert Edmunds to be overseers of this my will in witness whereof I have hereunto
sett my hand and seal John Gumbleton his mark
